Eurosatory 2026: More Global Than Ever

With more than 2,600 exhibitors from 68 countries, 40 national pavilions and the expected visits of more than 350 official delegations from 100 countries, Eurosatory has confirmed its status as the reference global tradeshow for the defence and security sectors. This edition marks a new stage in the event’s international development, driven by significant expansion by several exhibiting countries, the arrival of new participating nations and a growth trend observed across all continents.

Amid global rearmament, shifting geopolitical balances and the acceleration of industrial cooperation, Eurosatory is, now more than ever, a strategic platform where governments, armed forces, manufacturers, investors and innovators from around the world come together.

Growth driven by several significantly larger national delegations

The 2026 edition features particularly striking growth in both the number of exhibitors and exhibition space.

Among the most significant increases is that of Ukraine, whose representation has grown spectacularly with more than 80 exhibitors compared to five in 2024, and an exhibition area more than five times the previous size. This rise in prominence illustrates the dynamism of Ukraine’s defence industrial ecosystem and its ambition to increase its international visibility. Another notable increase is Armenia, which has gone from 5 to 19 exhibitors, confirming the development of its industrial and technological capabilities in the fields of defence and security.

In Central Europe, Slovakia is also tripling its presence, with 23 exhibitors compared with 7 at the previous edition, whilst Poland continues to grow in strength, with 43 exhibitors compared with 22 in 2024, reflecting the country’s massive investment in its defence capabilities.

Other notable growth stories include Germany, which is cementing its position among the leading international delegations with over 200 exhibitors, but also USA, Croatia, Finland, Belgium, Italy and Australia, whose industrial ecosystems are showing sustained growth.

These developments underscore Eurosatory’s role as a global showcase for the industrial and technological capabilities of nations committed to modernising their defence and security capabilities. Eight new countries join Eurosatory in 2026

This international momentum is also illustrated by the arrival of new exhibiting countries.

For the first time, Eurosatory is welcoming companies from Chile, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Malta, Morocco, Nigeria, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

These new participations illustrate the continued geographical expansion of the show and its ability to attract stakeholders from previously unrepresented countries.

They also reflect the growing interest in Eurosatory from emerging defence and security industries seeking to develop their international partnerships, access new markets and showcase their innovations to a global audience.

A global movement observable across all continents

Over and beyond individual cases, the 2026 edition reveals a more widespread scale-up by companies from outside France.

Europe: acceleration in investments and strengthened partnerships

Europe remains the main source of the exhibition’s international growth. In addition to the increase in the Ukrainian, Polish, Slovakian and Armenian contingents, several other European countries are significantly increasing their exhibition space and the number of companies on display. This trend reflects the development of new industrial partnerships.

Americas: increased presence

The Americas confirm their strategic role with the larger presence of several long-standing delegations and the arrival of Chile among new exhibiting countries. The USA remain one of the largest players at the show, while several manufacturers from the same continent are pursuing their development in European markets.

Middle East: consolidation of major players

The Gulf states, particularly the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, are continuing to build up their industrial capabilities, whilst new regional players are strengthening their presence in the areas of technological sovereignty and local production.

Africa: a highly diverse representation

The arrival of Nigeria and Morocco highlights the growing prominence of Africa’s defence and security industries. The continent is gradually establishing a place for itself in international discussions on security issues, infrastructure protection and the modernisation of capabilities.

Asia-Pacific: innovation-driven growth

The Asia-Pacific zone continues to demonstrate its vitality, with more participation in particular from South Korea, India and Australia. The arrival of Vietnam and Uzbekistan also reflects the emergence of new industrial ecosystems that are particularly active in the fields of dual-use technologies, robotics, autonomous systems and digital technology.
