The History of MSPO
The International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) started in 1993 and takes place annually at Targi Kielce in Kielce, Poland. The exhibition has become the third-largest European arms fair, following Eurosatory and DSEI. It attracts over 600 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and approximately 19,000 visitors each year. The event has a long history of impressive editions. Here companies can profit from the amazing opportunity of showcasing their products and building strategic partnerships.
This year’s edition
This year is unlike any other, as MSPO will showcase an impressive number of 600 companies from 32 countries over an area of 30.000 meters2. This year’s show will also include numerous discussion panels, presentations, pitches and meetings.
Poland’s commitment to strengthening its defense capabilities is underscored by the participation of key international players, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and South Korea. These countries, alongside Poland, will highlight cutting-edge technologies in areas such as cybersecurity, unmanned systems, and advanced weaponry.
Among the highlights of this year’s exhibition is the focus on sustainable and eco-friendly technologies. As the defense sector increasingly embraces environmental responsibility, MSPO 2024 will spotlight innovations aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of military operations and enhancing energy efficiency. The Poland and NATO: A Valuable Member
This year’s MSPO holds special significance as it marks the 25th anniversary of Poland’s accession to NATO. To celebrate this, MSPO will host the Armed Forces Exhibition Jubilee. The event will include a series of seminars and panel discussions focused on Poland’s contributions to the alliance and the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Distinguished speakers from NATO member states and defense experts will reflect on the evolving security landscape in Europe and the role of international collaboration in ensuring peace and stability. Over 1000 Polish soldiers will take part in this event.
September 7: MSPO Open Day
On this extra day of the exhibition companies will step aside and let the Polish Armed Forces shine. Families and defence equipment enthusiasts can join and learn more about the equipment used by the Polish Armed Forces.
