Why The DHS Was Founded
The DHS was created after the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Its main mission is to keep the nation saved from the numerous threats it faces. The DHS is the largest Cabinet department with more than 240,000 officers in various roles – from immigration and customers, disaster prevention and management, cyber security, and aviation and border security.
The DHS wants to provide federal officers with customised tactical, concealable carriers that include NIJ 0101.06 certified, Level IIIA ballistics to develop a superior flexible, comfortable system to meet its requirements.
Armor Express’ Body Armor Undergoes Stringent Ballistic Testing
The company’s Razor Ballistic System has been put to the test under the most stringent requirements such as the DEA Standards, FBI Protocol, NIJ 0101.06 certification and various special threats. Armor Express was chosen to be one of three body armor companies to meet the design requirements of the Department of Homeland Security. The company was picked for its ballistic design, performance and engineering specifications, as well as prior performances and overall reliability.
Armor Express’ body armor is made with state-of-the-art fiber technology like Teijin’s TWARON Microfilament® Aramid and DSM Dyneema’s FMT Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene.
The body armor is available for both men and women and will offer the best flexibility while also being concealable. It’s a lightweight ballistic package for law enforcement who need the best possible protection under extreme settings.
There are thousands of federal law enforcement officers who use Armor Express products in all parts of the country, including the most prominent agencies.
